ABOUT TEXIDO LAW

Texido Law was founded in 2022 by Nicholas T. Texido, Esq. After spending 15 years practicing in the criminal courts of Western New York, trying several cases to jury verdict, serving as Chief of Training for the Erie County District Attorney's Office, and working in a training capacity for area defense attorneys, Nick decided to put his skills to work on a more tangible level for you, the clients. He quickly hit the ground running and his clients would never trust their fate with another. Honest, hard-working, and aggressive, Nick is the person you want at your side when your back is against the wall.

In October 2023, Jianna Diaz joined the team as our new Legal Assistant. A 2023 graduate of St. Lawrence University and a locally born and raised Nardin graduate, Jianna is intelligent and enthusiastic, and understands the importance of the legal issues our clients face, as well as the immeasurable value of a person's freedom. Her ability to adapt, problem solve, and think independently is a big part of what keeps this whole operation running.

Jianna is slated to begin studying law at the New England School of Law in August 2024.

In April 2024, we were thrilled to add Thomas J. Heubusch, Esq., our new Associate Attorney. A 2021 UB Law graduate, Tom has now been practicing criminal defense for three years, and is a rising star in the criminal defense community. Prior to coming to Texido Law, Tom worked for one of the more prestigious criminal defense firms in Western New York. He shares our problem-solving approach to criminal defense, and his drive to be the best is contagious. Those who know Nick know that he would not trust client matters with just anyone, which is a testament to Tom's ability, empathy, and the quality of his work. Tom has hit the ground running and is already an asset to our clients, applying our proven methodology to get positive results for several clients.

In July 2024, we added Brianna Ruffin as our new Legal Assistant. Brianna earned a bachelor's degree in law and a minor in criminology from the University at Buffalo in May 2024, and hopes to further her career by attending law school. For now, she is putting her intelligence and passion to work for our clients, and we could not be happier to have her.
